A feature in the Grange Building at the 2024 Altamont Fair was the "What is This?" contest where we displayed a different antique object daily and invited fairgoers to guess guess it's name. A drawing was held each evening, with the first correct answer drawn receiving a $10.00 cash prize. The objects and daily winners are as follows:

 Thursday: Mermaid Bottle Opener: Winner: Rachel Sawadolsky, Pattersonville
 Friday: Pie Crust Crimper: Winner: Pete Nykorchuk, Pittsfield, MA
 Saturday: Mellon Baller: Winner: Christina D'Amtonio, Greenfield Center
 Sunday: Pie crust trimmer/sealer: Winner: Ruby O'Meara, Delmar
